Terms of Service

Effective September 29, 2026. GrantParty is operated by Capstone Tech (“we”).

1. The service

GrantParty is software that helps organizations find funding opportunities and draft grant applications and government proposals from their own records. It produces drafts, checklists, budget models and research notes for you to review, complete and submit. GrantParty does not submit applications for you and does not guarantee that any application will be funded.

2. Your account

You must be 18 or older and acting for an organization. You are responsible for keeping your password confidential, for everyone you invite into your organization’s account, and for what they do there. Tell us at once if you believe your account has been used without permission.

3. Your content

You own everything you upload and everything GrantParty drafts for you. You give us a license to store, process and transmit that content, including to the third-party providers named in our Privacy Policy, only as needed to provide the service to you. You are responsible for having the right to upload what you upload, including documents about other people such as staff and board members.

4. AI-generated drafts

Drafts are produced by AI models from your records and public sources. The service is built to refuse invented facts and to mark what it does not know as a labelled blank, but it can still be wrong. You must read every draft, verify every figure, claim and citation, and confirm every partner commitment before you submit anything to a funder. You are solely responsible for what you submit.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • upload content you do not have the right to share, or that contains malware;
  • use the service to misrepresent your organization, a partner or a fact to a funder;
  • attempt to reach another organization’s data, probe or disrupt the service, or bypass its limits;
  • resell access to the service without our written agreement.

6. Fees

Paid plans are billed in advance through Stripe at the price shown when you subscribe. Pilot access is provided for the period stated when it is granted. You can cancel at any time; access continues to the end of the period already paid. Fees are not refundable except where the law requires.

7. Availability and changes

We work to keep the service available and to give notice of planned maintenance, but we do not promise uninterrupted operation. We may change or discontinue features; if we discontinue the service, we will give at least 30 days’ notice and a way to export your content.

8. Termination

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or that creates a security or legal risk, and we will tell you why unless the law prevents it. On closure we delete your content as described in the Privacy Policy.

9. Disclaimers and limits

The service is provided as is. To the fullest extent the law allows, we make no warranty about the accuracy of drafts or research, and we are not liable for a funder’s decision, for lost funding, or for indirect or consequential loss. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

10. General

These terms and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between you and Capstone Tech about the service. They are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which Capstone Tech is organized. If a part of them is found unenforceable, the rest still applies. We may update these terms; material changes will be announced by email to account holders at least 14 days before they take effect.
